Megan Young nervous, excited for Miss World 2013 pageant

Actress turned beauty queen Megan Young is not taking the 2013 Miss World pageant with ease. Young said she is preparing doubly hard to represent in the Philippines in the prestigious pageant.

Pressure now mounts on Megan's shoulder considering that the Philippines only managed to secure first runner-up as the highest that the country's beauty queens achieved in  the said pageant - Gwendoline Ruais in 2011 and Evangeline Pascual in 1973.

Charice Pempengco's coming out as lesbian gets international limelight

Is it a good thing or a bad thing for Charice to come out in the open and admit that she is a lesbian? The former 'Glee' star, the only Filipina singer who has made such a fete, admitted in an interview with Boy Abunda that she is, indeed, gay and that she and her mother are currently not in good terms.
