DAR stops construction of Aga Muhlach's house

The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) has issued a cease and desist order on the construction of the house of actor Aga Muhlach in Barangay Pugay, San Jose, Naga City.

The order, however, is not the center of heated arguments in Camarines Sur, where Aga is running for congress.

Board Member Awel Llaguno questioned the timing of the order, saying it was tainted with politics especially that Aga is a known supporter and ally of Governor L-Ray Villafuerte.

The DAR order was issued after it was learned that the construction of Aga Muhlach's two-storey house has no sanitary permit, occupancy permit, and building permit.

Lady Gaga donates $1-M to superstorm Sandy victims

As a gift from herself and her family, US pop singer Lady Gaga donated $1 million to the victims of hurricane Sandy that affected millions of lives in the United States.

"If it wasn't for NYC: the Lower East Side, Harlem, the Bronx and Brooklyn, I would not be the woman or artist that I am today. New York is relentless ambition, a drive to succeed, a place where there is a natural pursuit of diversity through compassion," wika ni Lady Gaga.

The donation was channelled through the American Red Cross, which is conducting relief operations to the victims of the said superstorm.
